We hope you are enjoying peace, sunshine, and cooling water as summer rolls on. At NLC, we are holding coaching sessions for the remainder of August (a few slots still available) and planning for our upcoming Fall session starting in September. Look for the fall schedule shortly and invitations for a girls horsemanship group, a parents and caregivers support group, and a visioning workshop. Also online scheduling and payment are coming soon.

North Light Coaching has just concluded a wonderful winter coaching season at Loudoun Therapeutic Riding (LTR)! Thank you LTR staff, volunteers, and participants for the warm welcome (pun intended) and for sharing space with us in the “Clubhouse.” We are on a 2-week administrative break, preparing for the spring schedule. In an effort to expand services to our community, LTR is excited to offer an experiential workshop intended for the greater LTR family. Parents, caregivers, adult volunteers, friends of the program, and community members are invited.
Prepare to Face the Holidays
Join us Sunday December 13, 2015 from 10am-4:30pm
for a day of holiday preparations . . . the really important kind.
The holiday season will soon be underway in all its celebration and chaos. What emotions accompany you this time of year? Excitement? Joy? Overload? Grief? A strong desire to put your head under the covers until January 2?
Give yourself the gift of one day just for you among the horses. Join Allison Goldfarb (Int’l Therapeutic Riding Instructor and certified Equine Gestalt Coach) and the equine coaches of LTR to consider how we may do more than just survive this time of year. Explore how you can celebrate with joy and ease, truly experiencing the “light” in the season of light.
- This workshop is limited to 8 adult participants.
- Holiday Lunch provided.
- All faiths welcome.
- No horse experience necessary. Activities with horses will be unmounted.
